Charles Martell Double Gloucester
A traditional farmhouse cheese made at Hunts Court in Gloucestershire with milk from the rare Old Gloucester breed. Beneath its rustic natural rind is a firm, smooth, golden-orange paste: full-flavoured without being overpowering.
Tasting notes
Mellow and buttery at first, followed by warm notes of toasted nuts and a gentle savoury richness. The dense yet yielding texture softens on the palate, revealing a delicate tang and a lingering, slightly earthy finish.
